Staff Wellbeing

         Staff Wellbeing is very important to us.  As a member of Newlands Girls’ School, these are just                     some of the examples of how we show our appreciation to all those that work here:

• We have signed up to the DfE Wellbeing Charter
• We are generous with staff absence requests – we go to our children’s sports days & graduations,   family and friends' weddings & loved ones’ funerals
• All teaching Staff receive a free laptop
• CPD is available for all staff at all levels
• Wellbeing Days are part of our school calendar
• We have regular staff breakfast events and lunch is provided for staff on INSET days
• We are a listening school-the opinion of staff really matters and feeds into school development
