Parents’ Forum
The Parents’ Forum, an informal group, meets once a term and has 14 regular members, three members from each of Years 7, 8, and 9 and 5 from the Upper School. It is hoped that next school year the Forum will have three representatives from each year group.
So far the Forum has received presentations on the new Award for Excellence; the Leading Parent Partnership Award; the School Development Plan; the role of the Parent Support Adviser and the School Curriculum.
There have been discussions about School Uniform, shoes, the new website, the newsletter and “Keep Kids Safe”, the new parent mail system. The Forum has also undertaken to support the action plan for the Leading Parent Partnership Award and will be more pro-active in the coming months in seeking views and ideas from all parents.
