An option choice in Year 10. Pupils prepare polished improvisations and scripted pieces for performance.
The practical work is worth 60%. Pupils study two set plays for the written paper which is worth 40% of the overall marks. The final examination performances are shown to parents at THE GCSE SHOWCASE and then to the AQA examiner in March of Year 11. This year visiting actors from the Theatre Royal, Windsor, came into school and held a workshop on Blood Brothers with Year 10.
