Students will be starting a new curriculum this year. Students will learn to use a range of software types including: databases, spreadsheets, desktop publishing, word processing, graphic design, podcasting, and animation.

Year 8:
The aim now is to thoroughly cover levels 5 to 6 of the National Curriculum.
Students will be given the opportunity to learn both new software and improve their skills with software learnt last year. Students will complete a range of assignments which cover web design, games, control and photo manipulation.

Year 9:
The aim is to develop pupils ability to work independently and to use ICT to solve problems which are more complex. Covering levels 5 to 7.
All assignments completed this year will give the students insight and understanding into computer system analysis and provide them with skills which they will need to complete their GCSEs next year.
