Drama is taught to every student at KS3. The classes are mixed ability and give every student the opportunity to create, perform and evaluate their own work and that of others. All students have a lesson in the Drama Studio at least once a fortnight.The studio a is also used for public performances. Drama is a popular choice at GCSE and at the end of their course students show examination pieces to an invited audience of friends and family. In Years 12 and 13 students take Theatre Studies at AS and A2.
The department organises many theatre visits. There is an annual school show as well as a year 12/13 production, and showcases for years 7,8 11 ,12 and 13.
